Is Your Spirit Guide Actually a Low Vibrational Entity?

Have you ever encountered a lower vibrational entity in your practice or as you were exploring different practices and systems of beliefs? Well, you’re not alone. Along with all of the experiences that we can see on TikTok and YouTube, I also have my experience which I hope will help others.

With my experience dealing lower vibrational, lower-level spirits I came to realize that they might reach out to you because they want to work with you.

These lower vibrational and lower-level spirits might be anything from lost souls, egregors (a consciousness that is created when a certain amount of people believe in it for a certain amount of time), lower-level demons, among other things.

Like your own high vibrational spirit guides, these lower-level entities might reach out to you under the pretence of working, helping, and guiding you. The thing is these lower-level spirits will not help you. What they seek is to satisfy themselves at any cost. And if they need to trick you in order to get access to your energy, they will.

One way they can trick you (which happened to me) is that they will cloak themselves or appear as a supposed “spirit guide”, a deity, or even a saint to get your guard down and get entry into your space and energy.

These spirits can be found in every religion and belief system. I’ve personally seen them in spaces where people practice Voodoo, Palo Mayombe, Santería, and even in large religions like Christianity (in my case Catholicism), Judaísm, etc.

Now, I know that not all of the spirits, deities, LOA that people work with in these religions and belief systems are malevolent, but what I do want you to realize is that lower-level spirits will go into any type of belief system and religion to try to fool the person into working with them. What I want is for you, the reader, to be careful, do your research, follow your intuition, heed warnings and advice from your elders; and don’t get into anything that you’re not supposed to. 

When it comes to Catholicism/Christianity and Judaísm, the way I have been able to identify these spirits has been by researching and looking more into the meaning of the Bible. I have realized that there are depictions of God which contradict each other. The Bible tends to flip flop between describing a benevolent god and a malevolent god that orders his followers to kill men, women, and children alike. A supposed benevolent God does not harm or tell people to harm others in any way. But lower vibrational entities that want power and control do.

In the physical, my most recent experience, was in a mystical store that I worked at for two years. This store sold everything from spiritual baths to crystals and tarot cards. The owner practiced Santería, Voodoo, and Palo Mayombe. One of the owner’s main spirit guides was an entity called Saint Claire. Saint Claire was a spirit which people would pray to for opening roads and clearing the mind.

During my time working at the spiritual shop, the owner would gift me spiritual baths (bottles with plant mixtures) for cleansing, which I took because there was no reason to suspect anything. Because the owner would create spiritual baths based on his spirit guides, some of those baths that I was given were Saint Claire baths.

The reason he was gifting me those baths was because working with people all day tends to suck the energy out of you, and you also tend to take one energy from others. These baths were to cleanse and help me re-energize.

Fast forward, and my spirit guide team got me out of the store in a whirlwind of events. One of those being that I was being given less and less hours to work, as well as me becoming more and more exhausted as time went by. This wasn’t your typical tiredness though. I began to feel sick whenever I even thought that the next day I had to go to work.

A few months after I was no longer working at the store, I dreamt of Saint Claire. Which was strange because I was neither a devotee of her nor had I thought about the shop in a few months. Looking back, this was my first red flag.

In my dream, Saint Claire, turned from a small figurine into a woman and I thought she was there to help me. I asked her many questions and I was smiling and laughing with her. We were in my room having a good time. When I decided to go to sleep (in my dream), I laid down and she sat next to me on the bed. I was wondering why she was still there since our conversations had ended. I started to get a little nervous, especially by how she was leaning over and getting closer to me slowly. I was in a vulnerable position, and I knew it. Suddenly, her teeth became sharp and elongated. Her eyes widened and changed color from brown to a sickly yellow. She was turning into a vampire. I knew she was going to hurt me, but I felt paralysed in my bed. I somehow was able to grab her robe and began to sing “Jesus/God is my pastor, I need for nothing”, three times or so and I woke up.

After waking up, I quickly wrote to a friend of mine who was a reader and who had also been helping me figure out what had happened and why I had been taken out from working at the mystical shop.

I had a few conversations with her, and we finally pieced together that, due to my proximity (for those two years) to Saint Claire, she now wanted to “work with me”. Looking back now, it is clear to me that she just wanted to keep sucking my energy, which she had be devoid of after I left.

Saint Claire was using fear to try to rope me along again, but the fear tactic was what sounded the alarm for me. Because my actual, high vibrational spirit guide team had never, never, used fear tactics on me for anything at all.

Not only that, but my spirit guides have also never asked me for offerings or anything of the kind except for me to live my life, learn, let go of the past, speak my truth, and fulfill my purpose and soul contract here on Earth.

I mention this because, due to my observations while working at the shop, I knew that Saint Claire required offerings and other things. And I was not willing to do any of those things for her.

While I know that many spirits and guides require offerings, what I have come to notice is that a lot of those who do require offerings and turn against you if you don’t are lower level, low vibrational spirits most of the time. They use these fear tactics like turning against you or giving you a nightmare to get you to do their bidding and go into spiritual contacts with them.

On the other hand (and in my experience) true high vibrational spirits support and help you the way you need to be supported and helped, without asking for much in return. If ever high vibrational spirits ask for anything, it’s usually for gratituted. If they do ask for offerings or for you to do a specific ritual, they usually do it in order to instil discipline, patience, perseverance; to teach you and maybe even test if you’re ready for the next step. Also, the high vibrational spirits usually leave it up to you to decide whether to do as they ask or not with no consequences on their part.

High vibrational spirits and guides do not go into your dreams and turn into monsters to scare you nor do they use any other type of fear tactics.

The most, high vibrational spirits will do if they see that you are not progressing no matter what they recommend, is to step back and not communicate with you for a time until you have learned what needs to be learned but this time on your own.

High vibrational beings do not cut you off form family, friends or your life in general either but ordering you to put all your energy into venerating or serving them. This is what lower level; lower vibrational spirits do.

High vibrational spirits and guides want to you live your life, have friends, have family, and forge connections with others because that is one way that you can share, ground, and teach the divine knowledge that was given to you. On the contrary, lower-level spirits want to always keep you for themselves to be able to feed off from you until you are completely exhausted. I’m sure by now you have been able to see the parallels between these lower level, low vibrational spirits and narcissists.

 During my time working at the store, I didn’t know it, but later I found out that some of the “spirit guides” (including Saint Claire) that the owner of the store worked with were actually lower-level demons in disguise. And some of those, (like Saint Claire), were feeding off of my energy.

After reading my story, you may be wondering why I was at that store in the first place. What my spirit guides have told me is that I was there because I wanted to have the experience dealing and learning about lower-level entities in order to later teach. As well as to develop a backbone for myself.

Knowing what these spirits that were haunting my dreams were and what they were doing, how did I stop them from interfering any further?

Once I was able to identify what Saint Claire really was, I made up my mind to decline her “offer”, which was a threat in reality.

I sat down with my pendulum, called on my higher level and light spirit guides, including my Higher Self and my angels. Once I had everyone there, I declared out loud that I respectfully did not want to work with the entity that was presenting itself as Saint Claire and that I never wanted it to present itself again to me in any way, shape or form. I banned it from my presence and energy forever more.

I then asked my spirit team to reinforce this with their own energy and to keep me protected from Saint Claire and any other entities from her same family or frequency.

I ended with the utmost gratitude for my spirit guides and close the session.

If you ever see yourself in a similar situation, you may try what I did, or you may look for other types of rituals more suited to you.

For me, I haven’t had a dream about that low vibrational entity, nor have I had any other threats or interferences from other low vibrational entities since.

With all, if you’re someone who does not believe in any of this or if you’re someone that has been able to become very high vibrational yourself, then you don’t have to worry about lower-level entities because they will not be able to interact with you in any way due to the vibrational and belief differences.

If you are going through something similar or something else entirely, do not fear. There is always a way out or through. Listen to your intuition and your guides for answers.
